The prices below are the ones each company printed on its own pricing page in October 2026. Plans move. A monitoring subscription tells you whether an answer mentioned you. It does not place the mention. DiscoSEO does not guarantee rankings or citations.

Why DiscoSEO is first

Smaller tools that watch prompts

OtterlyAI is a GEO monitoring product for a small team. Lite is $29 a month on OtterlyAI’s pricing page: 15 search prompts, tracked daily, on Chat GPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot. Google AI Mode, Gemini, and Claude cost extra. Standard, at $189 a month, raises the prompt count to 100. It is a subscription. It is not a one-time action list.

Peec AI is a European startup built for AI-search analytics. Starter is $95 a month on Peec AI’s pricing page: 50 prompts, three models you choose, daily checks, unlimited users, and one project. Pro is $245 a month for 150 prompts and two projects. The product measures mentions. It does not hand you a fixed roadmap for $99.

Rankscale sells credits that query AI engines. On Rankscale’s pricing page, Pro is $99 a month and includes 1,200 credits. The engines named there include Chat GPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek, Mistral, Grok, and Copilot. Essentials appears only as a yearly plan, shown at $17 a month beside a $20 figure. Pro+ is $229, Growth is $385, and Enterprise is $780, all monthly.

The large suites

Semrush is a full SEO platform. The AI piece is a separate plan. On the AI Visibility Toolkit pricing page, Base is $99 a month per domain, billed annually. It tracks 25 custom prompts and reports mentions from Chat GPT, Google AI, Gemini, and Perplexity. Additional users start at $45 a month. That $99 is the AI plan, not a claim about the rest of Semrush.

Ahrefs is a full SEO platform. On Ahrefs’ pricing page, Lite is $129 a month and includes 5 tracked AI prompts. Standard is $249 and includes 10. Brand Radar AI starts at $199 a month and is the product for researching prompts and tracking your own. The $29 Starter plan on that page is a limited search plan. It is not the price of the AI tracker.

How to pick

1. One site, one list of actions, pay once: DiscoSEO, at $99.
2. A small set of prompts, checked every day: OtterlyAI Lite or Peec AI Starter.
3. Credits spent across many AI engines: Rankscale.
4. AI mentions beside a large SEO suite you already use: Semrush’s AI Visibility Toolkit, or Ahrefs Lite plus Brand Radar if you need more prompts.

A longer subscription is the right buy when you need the number to move every morning. A one-time audit is the right buy when you need the list of changes and you do not want another monthly seat. Neither one promises that Chat GPT will quote the page.

What none of these tools can see

Google’s July 2026 guide says no third-party tool has access to Google’s internal ranking systems or its internal AI systems. A monitor can record what an answer said when it asked. The tools also do not share a job with the crawler file. Allowing OAI-SearchBot makes a page eligible for Chat GPT’s search index. A $29 monitoring plan does not write that file. The tokens are on AI crawlers and robots.txt. Google’s description of AI Overviews, which is a different product from Chat GPT, is on Google AI Overviews and AI Mode.
