Why I built it
I ship my own sites. When I want one found on Google, and quoted by Chat GPT, I do not want a retainer and I do not want another suite subscription. I want a finite list: what is wrong, what to do, and in what order.
That gap was the whole opportunity. The expensive tools are built for teams with a budget. A founder with one site mostly needs the list, then an afternoon to do the work. So I wrote that list. One URL in. About 15 minutes later, 100 actions. Then you, or your developer, do them.

The work before this
I graduated from the University of Toronto in Industrial Engineering in 2010. In 2011 I left a corporate job and moved to Seattle.
In 2012 I started Scoutzie, a curated marketplace for designers, in Y Combinator’s summer batch. We onboarded more than 500 creators by hand. TechCrunch wrote about it. We raised from Y Combinator, 500 Startups, and SV Angel. It didn’t work out.
In 2020 I shipped SmashNotes, short summaries of podcasts. In 2021 I opened BreckWorks, a coworking space in Breckenridge. In 2023 I built SmartyNames, wrapped a language model around domain and business names, ran it for nine profitable months, and sold it. GeekWire wrote that one up.
